Standard Warranty Terms and Conditions

Warranty Claim Procedure
You must take the following steps to file a claim if your product does not perform as expected:
1. You must have an original receipt/invoice with date of purchase

2. Contact your supplier, or VEQTOR directly, within 15 days of the occurrence
3. Provide the following information via e-mail (or standard post)
a. The identification number or stock code of the part that is malfunctioning and the serial number
b. The date of the malfunction
c. Where you purchased the product and from whom
d. When you purchased the product with a copy of your warranty registration documents
e. Digital photographs of defect or problem
4. You will have to pay for all shipping and handling costs after the first 30 days to return and exchange goods.
5. If you paid for onsite installation an engineer will come to your site within the first 90 days free of charge. If you want an engineer to come to your site after this period you will need to pay for these costs as they are not included in the standard product and service warranty terms and conditions.
Extended Warranty for Laser Tag systems
As of October 2012, VEQTOR has retrospectively extended its warranty for all laser tag and target systems from the original date of purchase subject to all Standard Product and Service Warrantee Terms and Conditions detailed herein. Additionally, from 1 January 2016 only those new system sales (or upgrades) that state on the invoice 'including Extended Warrantee' will have the following warrantee provision:
Lifetime cover for all laser and IR beam transmitters (if included in original sale)
3 years on all printed circuit boards, touch triggers, and radio modules
12 months on housings, speakers and lithium batteries
12 months on charger cables and fittings
12 months on computers, tablets, displays and printers
As of 1 January 2016, all laser tag sales that make no statement about warrantee provision will have the following warrantee:
Lifetime cover for all laser and IR beam transmitters (if included in original sale)
12 months on all printed circuit boards, touch triggers, and radio modules
6 months on housings, speakers and lithium batteries
6 months on charger cables and fittings
6 months on computers, tablets, displays and printers
Standard Product and Service Warranty Terms and Conditions
VEQTOR (trading name of Quantum Pursuits UK Ltd) offers a limited warranty of most new product for a period of 12 (twelve) months or a number of operational hours (as defined herein) whichever is sooner depending upon the specific product, effective from the date of purchase by the first user, to be free from defects of material or workmanship. Some items supplied will have their own original equipment manufacturer's warrantee which may be shorter, longer and have their own terms and conditions. VEQTOR's warrantee is in place to augment the original equipment manufacturer's warrantee. After the 12 month warrantee period the end user will be required to approach the original equipment manufacturer directly to obtain warrantee relief.
This warranty covers the normal operation for the warranted operational hours of the product, and excludes defects caused by normal wear, improper or lack of maintenance, power spikes and fluctuations. This warranty does not cover finishings; decorative housings, covers, trims, caps, foam; and removable parts including but not limited to lanyards, cushions, gromits, button covers switches, handholds, clips, nuts and bolts, and screws.
This warranty does not apply if, in the sole judgment of VEQTOR, the product fails due to damage from shipment, handling, storage, accident, abuse or misuse, or if it has been installed, used or maintained in a manner not conforming to product installation and use instructions, has been modified in any way, or has had any serial number or branding removed or defaced.
Repair by anyone other than VEQTOR or an approved agent will void this warranty.
The maximum liability of VEQTOR under this warranty is limited to the purchase price actually paid by VEQTOR's customer for the product, less the proportion of time the product has actually been owned by the customer during the warranty period, regardless of the amount of any other direct or indirect damage suffered by the customer.
VEQTOR makes no warranty that VEQTOR electronics will operate without interruption due to circumstances beyond their control including but not limited to failure of VEQTOR's suppliers components.
VEQTOR installation documentation is provided in either paper or electronic form and must be adhered to. Except as specifically provided above or as required by law, the warranties and remedies stated above are exclusive and in lieu of all others, oral or written, express or implied. Any and all other warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement of third party rights are expressly excluded. VEQTOR shall not under any circumstances be liable to any person for any special, incidental, direct or consequential damages, including without limitation, damages resulting from use or malfunction of the products, loss of profits or revenues or costs of replacement goods, even if VEQTOR is informed in advance of the possibility of such damages.
Customer's purchase and usage of this product is expressly contingent upon the acceptance of the warranty terms above. VEQTOR warranty is null and void if the VEQTOR product has been improperly installed, altered in any way, tampered with, or if the connected equipment was not used under normal operating conditions or in accordance with any labels or instructions.
VEQTOR reserves the right to revise or update its products, electronics or documentation without notice.
VEQTOR also reserves the right to change the terms of its limited product warranty at any time.
VEQTOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE REPAIR AT THEIR OWN DISCRETION SHOULD CONDITIONS OF THIS WARRANTY NOT BE MET
